Of all the shooting I do, it's still music photography that gets my blood pumping the most. It's where I got started, and since then I've been fortunate enough to have shot so many fantastic artists, that I really have lost count. This gallery is being changed and amended on a regular basis, if for no other reason than me finding new hidden gems in my archives that just *have* to be up here. In fact, there's a pretty good chance that if you don't currently see pics of your favorite artist up here, I probably have them sitting around somewhere!

This is my portrait gallery. As you can see, I've had a wide range of people in front of my lens, over a wide range of locations. Some of them were constructed quite deliberately, and others made up on the spot out of necessity. Whether it's a friend or a celebrity, portrait work can be the most challenging--and also most rewarding--form of photography that I engage in.

This gallery represents just a small fraction of the number of celebrities I've shot over the years. Most of these images were shot for Getty Images' Entertainment division, can can be found at Getty's web site, which is www.gettyimages.com.

Nightlife. Even after all these years, there are still parts of it that fascinate me. I've shot tens of thousands of images of night life from around the world, and as such could easily build a web site devoted entirely to the subject. That, however, is another project for another day. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this small sampling.

As part of the Black Lives Matter rallies at Los Angeles City Hall on Juneteenth 2020, this celebration of movement and joy broke out. The kind that only comes when a society creates intense pressure that must be released.
