My feeling has always been that if a client's images were clones of their competitors', then their efforts will have been wasted, as there is nothing to distinguish them or their product from the rest of the pack. In other words, if you don't make the effort to make your stuff look better than (or at the very least different from) everybody else's, why should someone bother to give you so much as a glance?
In this ultra-competitive modern world, if you're not going to make the effort to make yourself stand out, why should anyone make a similar effort and make a commitment to you? That's where I come in--to take my clients to the next level, and to make people on the outside follow, and want to go to that next level as well.
